Guinness, Whiskey, and Baileys Hot Chocolate

Warm up tonight with a cup of Guinness, Whiskey, and Baileys Hot Chocolate.  This recipe is super simple and will definitely make you feel relaxed, warm, and cozy.  Top off your spiked hot cocoa with some Guinness Wondermade Marshmallows for an extra delicious treat.  Recipe courtesy of Serious Eats.
Ingredients
1 (12-ounce) bottle Guinness
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
pinch kosher salt
3 cups whole milk
4 ounces milk chocolate chips
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate
4 ounces Baileys
4 ounces Irish whiskey

Directions

1.  In a medium saucepan, cook Guinness over medium-high heat until reduced to 1/2 cup, about 10 minutes. Set aside.
2.  In medium saucepan, stir cocoa with sugar and salt. Stir in milk, milk chocolate, and bittersweet chocolate. Heat over medium heat until, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is hot. Gently whisk to completely homogenize mixture.
3.  Add Baileys followed by reduced Guinness and whiskey. Pour into individual serving cups, and serve immediately.
The essentials.
Measure Guinness.
Add the Guinness to a small or medium saucepan.
Start cookin'.
Reduce the Guinness into a sweet syrup.  Remove from heat.
In a separate saucepan, add cocoa powder.
Add sugar.
Add a dash of kosher salt.
Add whole milk.
Add bittersweet chocolate.
Add milk chocolate. Dove chocolate bars actually worked really well in this recipe!
Mix until melted.
Add Baileys.

Add reduced Guinness.
Add whiskey and mix.
Pour into your favorite mug and add marshmallows.
Enjoy.
