GT Fish & Oyster

GT Fish & Oyster is a 2012 Michelin Bib Gourmand award recipient and the genius behind the exquisite menu is Executive Chef, Giuseppe Tentori. This place is phenomenal!  Every single dish my friends and I tried was fantastic and I regret not ordering everything on the menu.  The dining room is sophisticated, yet rustic with an added nautical flair.  The service is attentive, professional, and outstanding.  They also offer half off fresh oysters everyday starting at 10:00 p.m.  Reservations can be made via Opentable

Oyster menu.
Chef Giuseppe Tentori's signature hot sauces.
Did I mention that this place has amazing cocktails? Each cocktail is crafted by using 5 ingredients or less.
Sunfish ceviche with chimichurri, jicama, radish, and tostadas
Extremely fresh, light, and delish!
I love creating the perfect bite.
Baja shrimp bruschetta with avocado, toasted pistachio, grapefruit, and cilantro.
Tuna poke with mango, cucumber and black sesame.
SO delicious!  One of my favorite dishes of the evening!
Oysters!  Extremely fresh and comparable to the amazing oysters we had at Bouchon.
GT's own house-made cocktail and mignonette sauces.
Fish and chips. Beer battered cod, steak fries, malt vinegar, and dill pickle remoulade.
AMAZING.  The best fish and chips I've ever had!
The fish was perfectly cooked to tender, flaky morsels.  I'm literally drooling as I'm typing this.
The famous Oyster Po'Boy Slider with kimchi and peanuts.  Do yourself a favor and order at least 2 sliders.  DO NOT SHARE.
Party in your mouth.  Did you know that this slider was named one of the best ten dishes in the nation by the James Beard Foundation?  A must order!
Pei mussels with roasted tomatoes, basil, and ciabatta.
The broth was savory and full of flavor while the mussels were perfectly cooked.

Happy eating.

xoxo
Grace
