The Publican for Saturday Brunch

The Publican is one of my favorite restaurants in the city.  This quality of the food here is exceptional! The highlight of my brunch here is always their bacon.  It is UNBELIEVABLY delish!  Reservations can be made via Opentable here.

Try going to brunch earlier than later because menu items sell out due to popular demand.  Once an item is sold out, the menus are adjusted accordingly.

Intelligentsia coffee.  As my readers know, Intelligentsia is my preferred coffee of choice.
BACON!  Oh my, oh my...
Thick cut bacon that just melts in  your mouth.
Frites with fried eggs.

Perfectly cooked eggs are gently nestled on top a bed of fries.
Cut the eggs so the yolk soaks the french fries.  This side is also offered on their dinner menu.
Softshell crab sandwich.
Phenomenal!  The menu at The Publican changes often so go soon before this delectable item is taken off the menu!
They also offer a variety of wonderful teas.
2001 oak barrel aged pu-erh tea.
Pork schnitzel and waffle with raspberry mostarda.  The pork schnitzel was the size of my plate!
Sweet and savory while providing crunchy and chewy textures.  Absolutely perfect.

Happy eating.
