Grand Lux Cafe at the Palazzo

On the first morning of our Vegas trip, the girls and I were craving beignets and decided to brunch at Grand Lux Cafe.  If you are in Vegas, make sure to dine at the Grand Lux Cafe at the Palazzo because the one in the Venetian does not have beignets on their menu.

The interior decor of the restaurant is fabulous.  I love the rich gold and red tones that provide a warm atmosphere.  Of course, the chandelier and giant columns gave this place an additional Vegas flair.  Pictured: Anne and Hayley.
A coffee was a must.  The added Baileys was imperative.  The large menus that concealed our bedazzled Vegas flasks was our savior.
The portions at Grand Lux Cafe are enormous!  This plate was a perfect amount of food for two people.  Pictured: Fried Chicken and Waffles.
The Chicken and Waffles came with pecan honey butter sauce and maple syrup.
Drizzling the pecan honey butter sauce over the Chicken and Waffles.  The nutty and buttery aroma of the pecan honey butter sauce made me want to drink it with a straw.
Fish Tacos.
Fresh Garden Omelet with hash browns.
The highlight our our brunch: Baked to Order New Orleans Beignets.
The beignets come with three sauces: Hazelnut chocolate, white chocolate mousse, and raspberry.

These little babies are made-to-order so each batch comes out fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious!
I'm drooling just looking at this picture.  If you're in Chicago, stop by the Grand Lux Cafe located at 600 N. Michigan Ave.
(between Ohio St & Ontario St) and treat yourself to some fresh ordered beignets!

Happy eating.

xoxo
Grace
