Cheap Eats: Sushi Sai (located in the Loop)

Sushi Sai is the best spot to get your sushi fix in the Loop.  This hidden gem is open 7 days a week and offers a $19.99 sushi buffet everyday after 2:30 p.m.  Order enough sushi and the chefs will plate your dish on a sushi boat!

Sushi Sai is similar to Sushi Para in that you can order as many times as you want.  The only catch is that you must finish your food or else they will charge you an extra 25 cents per leftover sushi piece that you can take home.
Included in the buffet are a myriad of choices for appetizers.  Pictured: Fried vegetable tempura.
Edamame.  Don't forget to eat your veggies.
Pictured: Mackerel, salmon, tuna, whita tuna, unagi, and yellowtail sushi.
Pictured, from left to right: Spicy tuna roll, mountain roll, and pop up roll.
What I appreciate about Sushi Sai compared to other sushi buffets is that they don't skimp on the actual sushi or add extra rice to fill you up faster.  They provide great sushi for a great price.
At this point, I thank God for the invention of stretchy pants.
Success!
Happy eating.
