Butcher & The Burger

Butcher & The Burger, owned by Chef Allen Sternweiler, creates a one-of-a-kind burger/butcher shop that offers melt-in-your-mouth burgers.  Ever since my first visit here, I've been literally craving their amazing burgers.  B&B creates a unique atmosphere by blending the ideas of an old school butcher shop with a trendy burger joint.   Freshly ground burger patties, meatballs, or meatloafs can be  purchased to-go from its vintage meat locker.  Or opt to eat in-house and order one of their phenomenal burgers that incorporate locally-sourced ingredients and artisan cheeses.  Plus, their featured menu offers specialty meats such a bison, ostrich, boar, and venison.  Not a fan of the featured menu?  Don't worry, you can also build your own burger with prime beef, grass-fed burger patties, or vegan options.  Don't forget to order the frozen custard for dessert.

4 stars on Yelp
Interior of the restaurant.  I love the candy apple red accents.
Favorites Menu along with specials.
This place is BYOB!
All burgers are plated on a wooden cutting board singed with the B&B logo.
The Cobb.  Turkey burger topped with blue cheese, fried egg, avocado, bacon, and tomato on a wheat bun.
House blend beef, Chicago Steakhouse Spices, Blue Cheese, Mushrooms, and Caramelized Onions on a split top bun.
O.M.G. MELT IN YOU MOUTH DELISH.  The burger was slightly smaller than Kuma's Corner's burgers, however, the flavors and freshness of the burger are out of this world.  Extremely juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of punch-you-in-the-face flavor.
Surf Special.  Shrimp burger patty topped with umami, avocado, tomato, and wasabi mayo on a split top bun.
Scrumptious.  I loved the wasabi mayo with the shrimp burger patty.  It was like a sushi/burger party in your mouth.
The amount of fries they give is obscene. Obscenely delish.
Truffle mayo.  A MUST.
Strawberry margarita custard.  Oh my Lordy.  Creamy and dreamy.  Definitely order their custards.
Powdered Sugar and Cinnamon Beignets.  Light and fluffy.  But, if you had to choose only one dessert, I would opt for the custard.

Happy eating

xoxo
