Sweet Eats: Glazed and Infused

Glazed and Infused opened up its second shop in Wicker Park right across from the Damen Blue Line stop.  This place is PHENOMENAL!  The donuts are ginormous, fresh, and delectable!  Plus, the shop offers a variety of wonderful flavors that include red velvet, maple bacon long johns, peanut butter and jelly, and more!  I ordered 4 donuts and ate them all in one day.  A tad gluttonous... but it was SO worth it!  Glazed and Infused, count on seeing me at least once a month.

Vanilla Bean Glazed.

Raised ring with Madagascar vanilla bean glaze.

SO GOOD!  Light, airy, and slightly chewy.

Creme brulee.

A vanilla crème brûlée filled Bismark with brûléed sugar crust.

Fantastic!  I LOVED the crunchy outer glaze!  I devoured this donut.

Luscious Lemon

Lemon cake filled with yuzu curd topped with lemon glaze and candied zest.

This cake/donut hybrid simply melts in your mouth!  Luscious Lemon was the second donut I inhaled after the creme brulee.

Old Fashioned

The classic spiced buttermilk cake with vanilla bean glaze filled crevasses.

Extremely fresh, moist, and delicious!!!
